![]() I would definitely give money for an ARM version if it were "download, install and play". Once the Steam package has been downloaded to your Raspberry Pi, we need to install it. The internet (mainly Reddit) was all aflutter last week due to the release of the Steam Link app beta version for the Raspberry Pi. In addition, there are already versions for Android, where I know is the same architecture. From what I read for a few days, this does not seem to be very complicated for those with knowledge, because apparently the game was developed in C# and this makes the job easier. I have already met some users who managed to port the platform, using the version provided by GOG (I don't know if this is allowed/legal), however it is a little difficult, such as installing Mono and some other packages. Without the Steam launcher there is no way to run the games there (not in a simple way). The App uses the same streaming technology as Valves Steam Link, allowing you to play your favorite games and even spectate VR games right from your Raspberry. You can’t do anything that isn’t included by default. ![]() ![]() Additional features: That’s the big issue with Lakka. LibreElec is probably the reason for this, which is lighter and faster than Raspberry Pi OS. However, many of these clones use processors from lower-end brands like RockChip and Mediatek. Performance: Batocera and Recalbox are better than Lakka, but it’s still faster than Retropie in most tests. The problem is that (the Steam variant) requires specific drivers for the ARM/aarch architecture. The single-board computer market is flooded with Raspberry Pi clones that boast of being faster, cheaper, or with more ports. This amazing mini board has the hardware specifications compatible with that requested by SV (at least the 4Gb version of RAM). My question is whether we will have a version compatible with Raspberry Pi 4. I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place.
